About

I’m the one who got away, through God’s grace ~

I have a beautiful, loveable daughter Theone Amara born on February 22, 2008 — the reason why it’s not just about me. It’s about Amara.

It’s about the God who brought me to this world. It’s about the world. It’s about the people I encounter, the places I’ve been and want to go, the things I see, feel, hear, taste, smell… It’s about different perspectives. It’s about glimpses inside my heart and mind.

  4. I’m working on a cover story for Tobias Magazine (for single Catholics). It’s called “Singled Out”–referring to all the times when people ask nosy, impertinent questions, and all the times when you go solo to weddings and other events meant for couples. How do you deal with these times? Being single with a child, I would imagine it’s even harder. Would you be willing to share your experiences?

I’m working on a pretty tight deadline, so I will look forward to hearing from you soon. My email is ckbasi@yahoo.com. God bless!
